Question: What are some of the clues that police are looking for when they begin to investigate a suspected drunk driver in Wisconsin?

Answer: Officers are generally looking for certain driving clues in the beginning of an investigation for a drunk driver: things like weaving, stopping for no reason; obvious ones like an accident. Something like speeding is generally not indicative of intoxication. If we see a speeding stop in our firm or a stop based upon an equipment violation or something like non-registration that oftentimes raises motions we can file to challenge police procedure, given that these things are not normal signs of intoxication.
