License Suspension in Wisconsin OWI

Question: How will I know if my license has been suspended following an OWI arrest in Wisconsin?

Answer: Once your license is suspended, you will be notified by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation at the most recent address that they have for you. Generally, the earliest point that your license can be affected after an OWI arrest is 30 days after the test result is received, if the test result is over a .08. If you refuse to submit to a test, your license will be revoked within 30 days unless you request a hearing within the 10-day time limit.
