Adam Welch relishes his work as a defense attorney. After graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School, he began his career in the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office, where he worked tirelessly on behalf of his clients. He brings a wealth of experience and tenacity to Tracey Wood & Associates.
While he was still in law school, Adam interned with the Winnebago District Attorney’s Office and in the Chambers of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Jon P. Wilcox. It was during this time that he found he had a passion for defending those who had been charged with a crime and had to fight for their rights in the complicated legal system.
Adam has represented thousands of clients facing charges that include homicide, sexual assault, white-collar crimes, robbery, drug crimes, traffic offenses and probation and parole revocation.
He is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, the National College for DUI Defense and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Adam is admitted to practice before all of Wisconsin’s state and municipal courts as well as the Federal Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
