Question: What is burglary under Wisconsin law?

Answer: Burglary is to intentionally enter a place without consent and with intent to either steal or commit a felony while you’re in that place. Again, if you’re armed with a dangerous weapon or device, or if you go in unarmed but arm yourself while in that place, or use an explosive in an attempt to open a container, or commit a battery upon a person in the place, then that increases the penalty to a higher level felony.
