Our very own Tracey Wood has been appointed as an arbitrator for the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Fee Arbitration Program due to her decades of experience and long-standing reputation for excellence within the legal community. This program provides an alternative to court for resolving disputes between attorneys and clients. As a trained volunteer arbitrator, Tracey hears both sides of a dispute and helps determine how the matter should be resolved through a process that is confidential and generally faster and less expensive than litigation.

Her appointment reflects the trust placed in her judgment, fairness, and understanding of the ethical and professional standards attorneys are expected to uphold. It also recognizes her ability to carefully evaluate competing perspectives and make impartial decisions in difficult disputes.
For clients, this role provides added confidence that Tracey is respected within the legal profession, understands both an attorney’s responsibilities and a client’s rights, and is trusted to approach disputes with fairness, accountability, and sound judgment.
